Faggots
A faggot is a savoury meatball, made from offal and low-grade meat, usually pork, seasoned with herbs and wrapped in a membrane from the pig's abdomen. They can be eaten cold or hot.
The best known commercial version, Mr. Brains Faggots, is made of liver and onions. These are sold frozen in supermarkets and are served hot in rich gravy.
Faggots are known as savoury ducks in some parts of the country, especially North-West England.
